Can you held ID this Coil Cover

I bought a box full of mixed old stock items for Monte a couple months ago. This coil cover was one of the items. It looks like the cover to the round 8 inch dounut coil but is smaller in diameter than that coil cover. In fact it is exactly the same size as the 8 inch round coil.
 
You didnt put it in the dryer did you?
 
What size is it? It looks like the one on my Tiger Shark. It is 8".... KEN
 
Here is a photo of the White coil cover sitting on top of the Brown coil cover. They are matched up even on the right hand side. As you can see, the center hole is smaller on the White cover (I thought they were the same) and the edge of the Brown cover can be seen just extending a little bit further out past the left hand edge of the white. Thats not a shadow along the left side of the white cover, its the brown cover.
Question? is the 8 inch coil on the water machines a little smaller that the 8 inch coils on the water machines?
