Can You Imaging How Many Good Finds At Cuban Beaches Could Be Had If Detecting Was Allowed?

I don't want to inject any politics here, however, if there was ever a friendly takeover of Cuba, there must be truckloads of cash, relics and gold jewelry buried there from a forever time. You think that the beaches would be flooded with detectorists if detecting was allowed? Hell, I would be there ASAP!

I would be there in a heartbeat if I wasn't so dang old and afraid to fly. At one time, pre Castro, Cuba attracted tourists from all over the world. The U.S. , naturally, led the race in tourism. What the Cubans did to keep the old American cars running when Castro took over was nothing short of a miracle.

Good to hear from you Willy! Most photos you see of Cuba include a nice old US car in mint condition.
