From the land of the Bluenose.....watched "Home Alone" then I was as Marie and her sisters exercised their shopping genes. So this bouy exercised or exorcised his digging gene at a local playing field. This is without a doubt the latest I have ever dug in the year and the quota of 50 @ $6.50, was had in no time.

Relegated to the kitchen cooking spaghetti, playing scrabble on line and watching Milan play football on the tube! Seasons greetings all.

glad you are still getting out. I fought the weather today and dug some. It was brutal - 60 degrees when I started at 7 am :)

Can you send me the site where you play online scrabble ? Thanks, steve in so az

Boy, I can't do the cold anymore even though I was raised in it. Heat's not so bad. Any kind of weather looks like you still did good!

I just watched Secretariat with the kids. Very god movie.

Congrats on the hunt!

Way to go Leslie. Wish I could handle the cold weather but, like Sailorman, I cannot even though I was also raised in it. Since I was a kid, I've tried just about every winter sport you can imagine to enjoy winter but regardless of what I did or how much money I spent, I just didn't like cold winter weather. My idea of winter is 70+ degree water, a beautiful beach and palm trees waving in the breeze. I used to live in southern California and, for the life of me, I can't figure out why I moved back to Michigan! I had a nice place to live just two blocks off the ocean and a great job in the aeronautics industry. Many times I wish I wish I would have stayed there but we can't live our lives with regret.

Hi Martin! My nephew Scott was stationed in California and loved the beaches but was transferred to Washington, DC where he was part of the Color Guard but found it very boring, so put in a request to be let out of the Navy early and was allowed because of BO bringing home the militay from Iraq! Now he is home for good and arrived to celebrate his 23rd birthday on the 16th and is home for Christmas! Everyone is soooo happy for him to be home for good! A joyous and blessed Christmas for Wanda and his sisters for sure! God is good! Maybe the Lord will provide for you to go to the Phillipines again or back to California....whatever His will for your life and His plan through prayer shall be fulfilled by listening and obeying His Holy Spirit's guidance! Amen! Ma Betty
