From the land of the Bluenose.....the walls were closing in, each tick of the clock sounded as if it was in my head, all letters to fellow stamp collectors sent, honey dew list completed...I couldn't stand ...just couldn't I tell you so out I went and....... got 4 new winter rubbers for Otto with my Seahunter Mkll snuggled in the back seat. Wasn't sure where I was going but after a spell I did end up at a lake and was greeted, and not too warmly I might add by this!

... Lord love a duck! You are the man!
Maybe you need some seriouly insulated waders?

You'll have to give it up Leslie.
It'll be waiting for you next year:cry:

You got more balls than me bud. A jug of Crown Royal would have accompanied me into that icey hell with about half of it downed before I ever entered the water.

Heated waders would be more appropriate or a surplus space suit. BRRRRR! Makes me shiver to even think about it

I suspect Les may have been wondering about that after a few minutes in the frigid water. They are probably just now re-emerging....

You are a serious die hard! Lakes here are all frozen up around the edges, and I am not brave enough to play ice breaker like you did.

LORD LOVE A DUCK, sir I for one bow down to you for your dedication but PLEASE refrane from repeting that
stunt for your own safety. There are times and places that we just have to draw the line and this is surlly one of them.
I always enjoy reading your posts as you have a nack with words lets keep it that way ok.
