There's a lot of digging there Leslie, and that doesn't include the junk at probably ten junk items to one keeper.

A lot of work for a good result. Well done!

We have our off season here in Oz too, but it's because it is far too hot in summer.

Today it is 40

Hi C. Nyal, good luck in the mountains and hope it is much cooler for you while detecting for the gold and may you do really well in finding a large chunk or chunks of it! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Hi Turnmaster, I hope it is alright for me to answer for Leslie...but he calls Toy Cars dinkies, if I am not mistaken! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Yes Ma Betty is right "Dinky" is a brand name of metal toys mainly cars and trucks that were very popular here in Canada and imported from England. Spent lots of time as a kid in the 60's in department stores with my face against the glass show case display of Dinkys. Very high quality toys with lots of detail and working parts that sparked a young boys imagination. I still have a box of them in the attic that my boys played with.
No wonder I can't find any thing here in Nova Scotia Leslie's found it all. I jest:crylol:.
Keep digging.:canadaflag:
