:canadaflag:Update on Mom

Leslie(nova scotia)

Well-known member
From the land of the Bluenose.....getting sadder by the moment. Mom seems to have lost her will. Increased her oxygen flow as well as th morphine. She fell the other day and had to lay on the floor for over an hour as dad and my sister couldn't lift her. Finally got a hold of my nephew Nat who came out. Just sad to see someone disintergrate before your eyes....especially the one who gave you life!

Jesus said: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid" (John 14:27, NIV).

Continued prayers for mom!

I agree Leslie. It is sad.
I put my mom in a nursing facility over two years ago...she hasn't recognized me in a year and a half but I guess all things are eventual.
Hang in there.

Good to see ya post here again. Hope to see ya around here more.

God bless

Mike

Leslie, your mom is in our prayers. God is in control and He will give her the peace to get through this, as well as peace for you and your family.

Praying for your mom, you and all the family! It is sad to see a person failing in health (like I did my brother Cliff) and there is nothing that anyone can do but put it all in God's hands! He is the one Who gives life and takes it away, blessed be the name of the Lord! Hang in with Jesus, for we all get older sooner or later and we do not know what we will face, but facing it with Jesus is soooo much better than without Him! May the Lord give you peace, comfort and rest for you and your mom! Amen! Ma Betty

been through it with my grandpa (alzheimers) and my grandma (dementia) i miss them but i was happy when they passed knowing where they were going!!!!!!!! praying for your mom and you also!!!!!!!!
