Can't get Deus 2 remote to go into UPDATING screen

Hi all, I am hoping someone can help. When I go through settings and get to the Update screen, when I click the button that corresponds to "Yes" all that happens is that the remote turns off my puck, but then goes back to the prior settings screen. It doesn't progress to the UPDATING screen prior to when I am supposed to plug in the USB. My remote appears fully charged.

Please help with any suggestions as to why this might be happening! I have also contacted XP but haven't heard back just yet.

First, turn off your puck while trying to update your remote. For Deus 2, components are updated separately. Make sure you sign out and do a fresh sign in of your XP account before you try to update any Deus 2 component. I even sign out and sign back in for each component update. If you don’t have an XP account you will need to register for one in order to complete a software update.
