Just ordered a T2se, will be delivered Saturday. I have had a gamma for about a year and before that a bountyhunter 3300. l love the gamma, lightning fast recovery and a little more depth with the 8" coil than 3300. I wanted a little more depth and I like the 2 coil package that comes with the t2. I have read every post about the t2, man come on fedex:bouncy:!

I just moved to Clarksdale, Ms from the bandera, tx. Really hot ground out there. If anybody is looking fore someone to go hunting with shoot me a message. would love to give relic hunting a shot, to date I have manly hunted parks. I really enjoy searching for arrowheads so I think I would like relic hunting, History...

Good luck with the T2se. You will really like it, I'm sure. I had the standard version a few years ago and really liked it. I am a little north of you in the Memphis area, but you should have some good relic hunting around Clarksdale. Don't know if Clarksdale has a club, but clubs can be very helpful if it does. Good luck and show us those finds you will be saving. HH jim tn

Thanks for the reply Jim. Do not believe there are any metel detecting clubs in Clarksdale. Found out last night my brother in law has a interest in metal detecting. Back in the 90's he rented a detector and hit a local ball park. The ball park was made in the early 20's they tour all the buildings around it when he was a kid. The only thing left is the back stop. He spent a hour there and found 3 silver dimes and a 1921 silver dollar, it was his first time ever using a metal detector.( talk about beginners luck). I'm going to go check it out with the gamma this morning. The T-2 will be here this afternoon, can't wait!

Well on choosing the T2,its my favourite detector over here in the UK,when it arrives dont make the common mistake by crancking the settings upto maximum as it will cause it too run vewry erratic, start off with say a baseline of 70,10,2+ and dig everything over 40 if its stable but if the numbers bounce as i would call it say from 50-80 then that is odds on favourite it will be iron. Not sure if you folks over the pond set up a T2 different but that is a rough guide line over here in the UK.

Good luck with your new detector and keep us updated on how you get on.

You will love it........ I, like Jim Tn had the Standard T2....... and can honestly say it was/is one of my favorite detectors.
It worked well everywhere with great depth, and awesome recovery speed. It's my understanding the Se version is even better.

There is only one reason you will not do well..That's if you don't get out and DETECT
