and grilled some chicken. MMMMMMM Good!!!!

I originally had planned to make Clam Chowder tonight, and do something else on Tuesday, but, the weather was just to nice today (got up to 69 degrees F). I decided to make the clam chowder tomorrow night, and grilled the chicken today. I knew we were going to get a cold front coming through today, but it was "supposed to" come through around 6 pm Central time. It actually blasted through around 2:30 this afternoon with 30 MPH gusts. I went ahead and fired ol' Bessie up anyway.

Yes, I am one of those that will grill or smoke meat in any weather. Heck, when we lost power for 9 days in the ice storm back in Dec., I was grilling EVERYTHING, meat, potatoes, and veg, as the house is all-electric.

Clam chowder....you grill everything? Doesn't the chowder fall through the rack?

I used to do the same things. Worked at Wal-mart once and they were going to throw away a gas grill - a large Brinkmann because the screws were rusty from sitting outside. I offered $20 and the store sold it to me (the $20 is a contribution to Children's Miracle Network so there were 2 that benefitted from this CMN and myself.)

I would grill on it almost every day and sometime night when I could be out of the blood sucking mosquitoes path...even grilled in the winter that first year. Used a few times last year...needs some touching up from rust but still a good grill. Maybe it will get more use this year.
