Careful when you take the trash out... :surprised:

[size=large]Thank goodness for the plate glass in the door! And, wouldn't this mess up your whole night if you were to take out the trash at the wrong time? These are from Bob Mangold in Grangeville, Idaho. The pictures were taken at night from his kitchen onto his patio deck. The critter was watching his 2 old dogs playing on the kitchen floor! ~ Cick to inlarge.

all the books that I have seen said they aren't in VA, but I've seen them with my own eyes. Also, if you live in the mountains don't leave your dog out at night. some of my friends barely got their dog inside befor some coyotes got it.

we would go hiking trought the trails and keep the kids in between us . i guess they like the stragglers.

3 dogs killed so far and a couple taken to emergency vet for repair. some of the dog owners were bitten / scratched as well.

State wildlife folks are telling people to carry a golf club, baseball bat, or big stick. Some are inviting Mr Smith and Mr Wesson to walk with them.

We were working land east of Prineville, OR and one of the guys running a D-5 CAT [bulldozer] had one watch him for about 15 minutes. The cat was only about 20 yards away! After that a couple of the guys carried pistols the rest of the job.

so cute though he would grab some food then find a place to wash it before he ate it. drove the dogs nuts when he first showed up. and the cats disappeared for awhile. he came down from the roof using a tree. first woke us by coming down the tree and smacking his head on the sliding glass door. huge thud. the rest of the night it was all clang bang clang as he made his rounds around the yard. im guessing he was about 20 lbs or so.

Just a bit of Trivia. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the "Cougar" has the MOST names of any earth mammal. Mountain Lion, Puma, Panther, etc.... are just a few. It is the second heaviest cat in the "New World" just behind the Jaguar.

We have them all the time here in the Rocky Mountains. There is one that likes to chase my kids when they are on their ATVs.
