Casey sang "Ancient Words". Sherry played the Yamaha 9000-Pro keyboard.

Up to that point the church didn't know there was musical talent...most of the songs we sing are 'canned' from taped music or we sing without musical instruments. We do have a piano but no one ever used it.
So Casey did well on the song. Sherry always does well playing the music.
Then came the bad news.
The pastor took us aside and let us know the board had a meeting and the church is closing (in fact the building has already been sold) and next Sunday will be the last time we meet there. It was a shock to say the least...and probably our timing with the music probably gave the church members the feeling of not only losing the church but the music that we could have had.
The pastor does have another church up in Roscommon but that is far away with our van on its last legs. We have been saving for a replacement vehicle still our goal hasn't been reached. Part of the reason we stopped going to Harrison was the distance - especially with winter road conditions. God will determine where we go from here and hoping He is speedy in getting us a vehicle that will last a few years.
Color us saddened at the news of the church closing its doors.
