Took a friend out to an old park today, it was his first time coin hunting, he was using my back up machine when he called me over and was getting some odd signals so I went over it with my SE and got a good silver hit so we started digging at the bottom of the hole was this great site of coins. he ended up with 12 coins in all 6 mercs 1 nickel and 5 wheat's, I was happy for him I'm sure he is hooked for life now. All I found were 2 wheat's and I damaged 1 of them because the ground is still pretty hard.

Another reason to stay close by the newbies they have that whole luck thing going for them and havent learned what a detector will NOT DO yet...expectation goes a long way no what I mean. thats a great time and your right ...hooked for life now.
