Got a neat find last weekend, but would like to find out the approximate age of it, and maybe somewhere to find pictures to compare it with. It is a small motorcycls rider, looks like it sat on a motorcycle anyway. I has what appears to be a strap over one sholder that goes down to his belt, and the old styled billed hat. Ill try to get a picture posted soon. any ideas would help. Larry

...well here's a shot in the dark, cast iron with peaked hat, strap over shoulder.... nice bike
Description from link below:
>>>Hubley Side Car, 9

Could very well be Steve. Its still very rusty, how would be the best way to clean it? I have some case cleaning acid, for rifle cartrage casses, would that hurt anything or decrease the value any? Thanks for the quick responce. Larry

Hey Steve, How the heck do you post multiple pictures into one posting?
Thanks

...actually, I think all those pics were one image file that included all of them.
> for posting multiple pics:
in the Post Response form
click the "Image" box and paste in the location of an image (example: http://www.findmall.com/metal/uploads/pic1975.jpg)
Usually you'll be able to continue doing this with subsequent pics.
There may be some bugs in this, as it doesn't always seem to work right...

I have tried that. Each subsequent pic replaces the previous one. <img src="/metal/html/confused.gif" border=0 width=15 height=22 alt=":?">

Open a new page(I like Paint program) paste in that page all the photos you want and save as jpg in any file you want then you post that page as photo as usual. Tara <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

...In the POST REPONSE BOX under every message you will see:
>>Your Name:
>>Your E-mail Address:
>>Subject:
Then directly under that you will see two rows of boxes for code tags. They are:
>>Bold, Italic, Center, List, Item, Code, Big, Small, Red, Highlight, IMAGE, Close tags
When you click on the >>Image<< box, a pop up box will appear that says:
>>> Enter the image URL (eg, http://yourwebsite.com/pic.gif)
Under this is a box to paste in the location of the pic you want to post. It helps here to have the location of your pic all ready so that you can copy and paste it into this box.
Then click >>>OK<<
The following text will then magically appear in the body of your posted message:
(img)http://www.yourwebsite.com/pic.gif(/img)
and the picture should appear in it's place when you preview your message.
For subsequent pics, open up the >>Image tag<< box again and repeat the process.
For this message I have pasted in the following addresses:
www.findmall.com/metal/uploads/pic1960.jpg
http://www.randttreasures.com/images/thaler.jpg
http://www.trocadero.com/mmj88/items/133784/catphoto.jpg
and these three pics should appear below:
<img src="http://www.findmall.com/metal/uploads/pic1960.jpg" alt="" />
<img src="http://www.randttreasures.com/images/thaler.jpg" alt="" />
<img src="http://www.trocadero.com/mmj88/items/133784/catphoto.jpg" alt="" />

I ain't got no web site. I am lucky to do email and surf the net. <img src="/metal/html/indifferent.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":|">
I guess that if I really do want to do it I will have to use Tara's idea. <img src="/metal/html/tongue.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":b"> This just takes more effort and planning. I prefer the easy way, if there is one.
<STRONG>Thanks for the help.</STRONG>

...at the top of the page, theres a box that says... "Load images to picture gallery" The Guv has generously made space available so you can download your images there, copy the address and then post them.
I know, I know, it does seem like a lot of work, and most times I content myself to using the the "browse" feature of the "optional Graphic Upload" below and posting one pic at a time.
Now enough jawing, Lee, post something, ok? <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
