Celebrity Cruise Line

Anyone use this cruise line and bring there detector without any issues
From what I've heard, it's not necessarily the cruise line itself that determines if you can bring a detector. It's the country/destination where you'll be sailing to that calls the shots. For instance, I've heard that Jamaica doesn't allow metal detecting on their beaches. So if you were taking a cruise to Jamaica, the cruise line would probably place metal detectors on their prohibited list, but that's probably just for that specific cruise to Jamaica I'm sure all cruise lines would do the same.

So, I think it all comes down to where the ship will be going. If the destination/country they're cruising to doesn't allow them, then they won't want their passengers to bring them on that specific cruise. Best bet is to check the cruise lines web page for the specific destination you're thinking about cruising to and look for their list of prohibited items. If you see that metal detectors are prohibited, that's probably because the country they're sailing to doesn't allow them. Always best to check first before laying down any $$.
