Cell phones for soldiers

In box that I received from Amazon were two mailing envelopes for sending used cell phones to soldiers. As I had dug one up recently I mailed it off. No postage required. I would think they could be had at your local post office also. So maybe when you find/dig one keep this in mind. Steve in so az

...we donated several phones to a battered womens shelter. They can't be used like normal cell phones but they can always dial 911 as long as the battery is charged.

The place were I have done my cell phone business gives you credit for your old one and then gives them to womens shelters.

Many schools allow students to bring cell phones to school...thus cutting down further (dumbing down) of America. Casey in one month time frame has sent over 4 THOUSAND text messages. She does it at home which means not showing respect for us as a family. Even lies to us about who she is text messaging.

Bought her a phone for emergencies...guess all those text messages are emergencies. Oh well as long as she pays the bill for it. Really though I do not think kids need cell phones - especially in school or any place where they show disrespect for others. JMHO.
