Why is he an idiot?Sounds as if he don't need the money but instead of leaving it in his basement he is going to LET a museum show his finds.What is dumb about that?

If I had unearthed 200 rings, brooches, ornate belt buckles, gold-plated silver plates and other pieces or fragments, many encrusted with pearls, fossilized coral and other ornaments the first thing I'd do is stuff them in a box and forget about them. He didn't even take the time to wash them off in order to get a better look at them. What else may be out there that was missed? Maybe a medieval burial tomb of a king? Of course maybe it's just me but that seems pretty idiotic.
