We had our club hunt this weekend. My take was 2 Kennedy halves ( 40% silver) a barber Qtr, a SLQ Qtr, 12 Mercs, 4 Buffs, 2 V's, and 6 Indians!
I also found 5 tokens. At the end of the day when the tokens were drawn, One of mine was drawn first so I ad first choice of prizes. I chose the top prize. It is a Charter fishing trip for 4 all day on Lake Michigan. A $600 value! I also got a new wireless computer keyboard and mouse, a stack of treasure mags, a T-shirt, and a DVD.
I plan to take my two sons and my dad on the fishing trip!
What a fun club hunt.

Here is my daughter at the kids hunt. She got 67 coins including clad dimes and Qtrs, Indians and wheats. She also won for nice kids prizes.

Congrats Mike on the super fishing trip you will be heading to. It will be awesome to get dad and the boys all together for some fishing and fun time. I know when I get together with my dad and brother on one of our few fishing trips, we all have a blast. That is great that you have your kids involved in such a wonderful hobby. Happy dirt and water fishing!

Well, Mike, me son, all those coins and prizes are nothing new for you to find during the club hunts! Your daughter, Grace, is definitely a chip off the old block and learning a lot from her dad by going detecting with you often! Your silver and gold piles must be getting larger and I pray you all have a very nice fishing trip with fun and all the fish you need! It amazes me that you guys find more old coins in one day than I find in a year! Congratulations! The best find is be able to hunt with your children. Amen!
