Cherry picking the high tones:yo:

Had a lot of fun today!!! Hit the park/baseball field again. The X-70 is MUCH more stable now that the ground has thawed out.:minelab:

I decided to only dig solid high tones and work on getting my holes/plugs to look nice. So I'm leaving a lot of things yet....but most of them will be pulltabs.

Found a couple of coin spills. The first was 7 pennys. The second was almost $2 of various change. When I broke the plug apart coins started falling everywhere!!!!!:yikes::clapping::detecting: Total in coins: $7.56

And the RING!!!!!! 925 Silver!!!!! It weighs 15 grams.:wiggle:

I also noticed a coil print in the snow. I think it is a Bounty Hunter pattern. So....someone else in town has a metal detector. I'll have to find out who.

You did good. Looks like you and the x-terra are getting along good.

Your first sentence is what it is all about........having fun! Congrats on making it through the winter. And may you have even more success in the days ahead. HH Randy

Congrats. on the nice finds. I know what you mean about cherry picking. As the day wears on, and I am losing energy, I also pass up those penny tones in lieu of those sweet 38-44's.

Yeah....I started off digging all the penny signals. But toward the end of the day, I wasn't.

I didn't dig a single nickel. No surprise there. Those nickels were mixed in with the the pile of half dollars and dimes.

BTW Here was my setup:
5x10" HF DD, Pattern 1, Multi Tone, TID Stability ON, Ground Balance Tracking ON

Deepest target that I took the time to dig up, was a pulltab at 7 inches.

Hey...lovely ring !
congratulations
