Chris (using an SE) and Tom (using a 'II') are wrapping up their NE jaunt :( but popping some silver. :)

Last year Chris & Tom made their run to the NE and did reasonably well. They got calls from several of the "regular" Forum Posters and/or Forum Readers who invited them to a site or two, and along the way Chris & Tom spotted an older place and asked permission for them and their "host" for the day.

Chris had hoped to get about 50 US silver coins last year and ended his trip with 58 US 'silvers', and both found enough older coins to whet their appetite for hunting early-day US states and enjoying others and the flavor of New England. They figured they might be in the 50-60 US silver coin count this trip, too.

Well, they reported in yesterday with a rough breakdown of how they are doing, and to let me know they were in MA, will be traveling through Western MA and into NY and to PA until they fly home on Tuesday. They only have today, Sunday and Monday to enjoy some of what you have to offer, so if your friendly nature leans toward suggesting a site or two, give them a call on Chris' cell phone (503-309-6940). They will gladly help you verify a location is hunted out. :)

For those interested, here were their general tallies as of yesterday morning:

CHRIS:
54- US Silver coins
5- US 5
