Christmas giving bites me on the butt...

Last week,I gave a ring I found to a co-worker for his wife-I stressed I didnt know if the stone was real or not...Today,I asked him if his wife liked that ring,he said "NO"-I asked why??He said-his words-"Being that I didnt have it tested,and it is not known its really a diamond or not;she said she didnt want it-and gave it to the grandkids"...:veryangry:My heart hit the floor on that reply,let me tell ya.Im not really sick of Christmas giving;just the "COMMERCIAL GIMMEE-GIMMEE-GIMMEE/YA DONT LOVE ME UNLESS YA SPEND MUCHO DINERO ON ME/IF IT AINT REALI DONT WANT IT"B#$%S#$%that it seems the whole world is infected with right now.That one act of sniffing at my Christian giving almost made me sayto @#$% with it all,and turn into Scrooge......I wont,though-ya know why??'Cause the smart people are the ones that KNOW JESUS is the reason for Christmas,not spending$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$'s on a new SUV or diamonds.AMEN!!!

reasons I dont interact with people much, and especially not sharing my detecting world . People dont understand & tend to poo poo things they dont understand. Kinda like the old sci-fi movies = "it's alien, shoot it".

God loves the happy giver. Leave it at the first part where you happily gave and forget the rest. You will feel better about it. God knows the true value and knows the hearts and minds of everyone.
