Christmas Wreaths for Our Soldiers

For the 15th straight year, 5,000 Worcester wreaths, from Worcester Wreath Company, will be loaded aboard a tractor-trailer and hauled 750 miles to Arlington National Cemetery. There, starting at noon on December 14, 2006, a small army of volunteers will line up, take the wreaths one by one and gently lay them against the small white crosses.

The wreaths are donated free.

Obviously and old picture and story but still worth seeing and know about...this will be the 17th year.

Yes, I have seen the pic with or without snow in my e-mail......beautiful wreaths and white crosses, but makes my heart sad to think of all those who died to keep our nation free and now I believe we are sliding down hill like Rome did, but hope not for our children's and grandchildren's sake! supposedly they used the 'separation of state and religion' as their reasoning. That would have entailed in most cases chiseling off the cross carved into the headstones.

Just another example of people not wanting to face the fact there is a God and try to eliminate all traces of Him when and where they can.
 
Well, Pete, if I was the parent or spouse of one of those buried in Arlington cemetary and they tried to remove the crosses, they would see a redhead with her temper flaring for sure! Disgusting the way this nation is going and no one will ever erase God from this nation or the world because He is real and exists and will be forever and ever! If they don't like America and God Jehovah, Whom this nation was settled with as their personal Savior, Christ Jesus, then let them leave and go back to their nation and their gods and leave the Christians alone! :angry:

We may lose a few battles but we will win the war for we have our blessed Lord on our side! :angel: God Bless! Betty
