Cibola Coil Confusion

I have a Cibola detector that I bought second hand that has been modified with ground balance function. However, some other changes may have taken place. For instance, I bought an after-market CORS coil for it and received it today. The plug on the coil is a 5-PIN male plug. The Cibola I have has a 4-PIN male plug on the control box and a 4-PIN female plug on the coil cable!!

What is the right plug on the Cibola and has my Cibola been modified?
 
Cibola uses 4 pin connector. Your Cibola is correct and sounds like it has the factory connectors. Some other Tesoro models use the five pin connector. You may have gotten a coil intended for a different model.
 
Cibola, vaquero, lobo use Delta (4pin) coils.
All umax detectors use epsilon coils (5pin)
Silver umax, Mojave, outlaw, deleon, Cortes, and many older use the 5 pin.

They do make aftermarket coils by NEL and a brand called CORS but you have to make sure they are for Tesoro and also the right type (4 pin or 5 pin)

Of you picked up a cors coil and it has 5 pins it's means for the tesoro epsilon detectors and you bought the wrong one for your Cibola. You need a Delta 4 pin. All I've seen for sale will specify either that it's Delta or epsilon or more commonly 4 or 5 pin.
