Got my Cibola in yesterday and decided to see how it would do last night before going to work. Had a problem with the headphone jack not working with my headphones, not happy about that but will deal with it for now. Wanted to see where I had to set the disc knob to pick up a nickle (on my DeLeon its just below the nickle mark) what I found was I have to set the dial just above the line below nickle or they get discriminated out. Checked to see where I lost the zinc pennies as there is no zinc setting and found that I'm almost to the max line before they quit sounding off. Had a V nickle in the jeep and wanted to see how it did and found I had to lower the discrimination down to almost iron to pick it up. So I'm curious to know if these settings are what ya'll have found with your machines or is mine kinda out of calibration? Finds for the night were 3 dimes (1 was on top of the ground) 1 nickle, 7 pennies (i've hunted this school yard several times and always left the zinc pennies, guess I just missed the other two dimes and nickle the other times) 3 metal buttons or rather parts of buttons and 1 9mm bullet, not sure how it got there as it looks like it was fired, but isn't mushroomed. Didn't dig any pull tabs, did get one pencil eraser, a paper clip and some really small pieces of metal that I thought was larger due to the sound the machine made, heck I like to have never even found one of them in my hand it was so small. Anyway all help on the settings an just use of the cibola in general is greatly appreciated. Jimmie
