I agree somewhat to this but I also have used TID detectors with depth guages and have yet found one that is accurate on depth as well close but not completely accurate Listening to the tone and the sharpness of it usually will tell me a good depth of the target but like you say they both have their placeatomicscott said:I use a Vaquero and an F2. One thing I really like though, is no-motion pinpoint & a digital depth gauge. It helps alot when you can pinpoint and stick the Lesche in 6" and not have to guess like a beep & dig machine. Having used both back to back, I can say the F2 has a much better pinpoint feature and really helps to narrow down the target. They both have their place
