City Maintenance

After watching Terry's successes with Sidewalk Tear outs I decided to do a little research on them. Now the City will email me about sidewalk and street work every week. Thanks Terry for your inspiration! I also wish to thank all the other posters who have helped me learn a little or a lot each day! Mike

How did you arrange to get email updates from the/your city in regards to sidewalk and street work?
Thanks

hi, if you dont mind me asking how did you arrange e-mails with the city for information about sidewalk and street tear outs? would like to do this with the city i live in but just wasnt sure where to start. hope to hear from you....thanks for your time and good luck in the field. j.b.

I just got on the city maintenance site and signed up. It"s designed to tell where work is going on to avoid problems both walking and traffic.

It probably does. They know in advance well ahead of time what they are going to tear up . The sidewalks in Lincoln,Nebraska are city owned and they are responsible for the maintenance on them.
