civil war bullet hunt

Nice finds. A pro-pointer would have made finding some of them a lot easier and quicker.

Love the lead!! What settings were you using? Relic mode or all metal? Sensitivity auto or manual?

Do a review on the Garrett pro-pointer vs the minelab pro-find. They are pretty much the same although the minelab is higher priced and it seems a little weaker. I sold my pro-find and bought a 2nd GPP. This is just my opinion on them.

I agree with DA. I have both and carry both but only use the Minelab on its less sensitive setting when narrowing down exactly where in the hole the target it. IMO, the Garrett has greater depth/range vs the Minelab at its highest setting. (tho i do like the option to turn off sound/vibrate)

88junior I was hunting in relic mode with the Safari, discrim out -10thru 0, senstivity at 18 in manual, and also set at high trash, and threshold at 12
