Civil War relic hunting with Deus

Hello,

Has anyone had the opportunity to hunt for American Civil War relics with the Deus?

If so what are your opinions on it as a relic hunting machine? What do the bullets, buttons and buckles display as on the machine?

Thank you,

Happygocivilwar

It works superb for relic CW relic hunting in my SW MO sites. They are covered with a carpet of square nails and the Deus will cut through the nails and hit the good targets.I run it in two tones 18 Khz and dig any thing above nails with great success. It is unreal how many small low conductors I have pulled this way.Little tiny flat buttons and tiny pieces of lead.A burned half dime as well.It also hits the larger 3 ringers at very good depth for me at my sites.I have moderate soil I believe,Ray.

Thanks for the info Ray.

Happygocivilwar - You should post your question on the civil war forum. Thanks. CCH.
