Clad count got a nice jump.

I grabbed my regular F 75 right after lunch and drove to a nearby park that abuts a elementary school that the kids filter onto during recess. I hit the park every couple of months and can usually come up with $4.00 to $5.00 in clad in a couple of hours. I did today as well, but in addition to the $4.87 in clad, I hit one spot that I figured was a small quarter spill. The quarters turned out to be 6 Susan B Anthony dollor coins. Nice to have a hobby that's so much fun and pay for itself as well. Well, almost anyway, if gas prices drop. HH jim tn

Way to go!...I managed .79 cents out of the gravel today before my fingers started to go numb.....But I'm at $8.16 clad for the year so far up here in snow-covered, frozen NE Ohio!...It beats the "Cabin Fever" to get out sometimes though!

You and others that brave the cold, snow and frozen ground are to be commended. Hope spring comes early for you all up north. HH jim tn

Thanks Les. I had hunted that stretch last fall and the dollor coins were just under the surface so they were a fairly recent drop. I still get amazed at the money the kids have to loose today. HH jim tn

But, if their parents are that Well OFF, that they don't seem to care!! Let the LOSSES CONTINUE!! I picked up a SUSAN B. last MAY in a GHETTO City
Park, and I was AMAZED!! Last summer, I hit a bit of a Honey HOLE, and found (2) New DOLLAR COINS and a SUSAN B.,on a SOUTH JERSEY
Beach, HUNTING in ONE night, and they were in (3) Different Sandwich Bags!! Somebody Buried or DROPPED them in the sand, and when I found them,
I THOUGHT THEY WERE TRASH, and when I found the Last ONE it had $1.00 in loose change in it!! I was about to throw the other ones away in a
Trash Can, when I decided I BETTER LOOK at them MORE CAREFULLY!! GOOD THING I DID!! Won't make that mistake again!! KEEP UP the
GREAT F-75 Posts Jim, I've GOT A LOT to learn, before I MASTER My F-75 LTD!! HH, Les Robinson

It is kind of ironic, but the schools in the moderate to lower income level neighborhoods seem to yield more coins then those in the upscale ones. I do, though, find more good jewelry in the upscale schools and parks. But regardless, a lot of nickels through quarters are lost in school yards today. HH jim tn

I have a school in a low income area that gives nothing but Quarters, I think the reduced lunches are 75 cents and lots of kids get quarters in change. I go about every three weeks and always get 15=20 quarters,no Penny's, nickles or dimes just quarters. Also found another school that must have 85 cent lunches I found 795 in nickles and dimes.
