If you are talking about a Bounty Hunter, they are not that bad. My daughter uses a Tracker IV and I use a V., but she does quiet well coin shooting.

The Tracker IV has pretty good reviews. You can get one for like $65 at Hobby Lobby every other week when they have their 40% off sale - nice way to get in the game. FWIW, I have never owned a BH, but I would have owned a Red Baron back in the day if I could have ever gotten the dough together. Then the line went more towards entry level and I'm a long way from being green.

Best kept Secret # 10 ( There's more money lost than in circulation today)

It's a little known fact...... throught out history more money has been lost than is currently in circulation. Think about the possibilities!

Not only could you find a single coin worth enough to pay for your metal detector , but it's not uncommon for hobbyists to find several

dollars a day in new , clad money!

Just something i read a long time ago!

The days of finding the easy silver coins are purty much done. That stuff got seriously cleaned out by hobbyists in the 70s and 80s.

It's still out there, but harder to find in the spots most folks hunt.

But clad gets dropped all the time. Lots of it.

I just wish they'd finally get rid of the dollar bill (lasts about six months) and go to the dollar coin only (last about 20 years).

That would be awfully nice.
