cladfest plus big silver

Got out Sunday afternoon to a high school sports field for about 3 1/4 hours. There seemed to be a lot of clad coins in the area I was concentrating on, the area behind one of the goal posts. Was digging a lot of quarters, ran into several coin spills. I dug a lot of mid tones too ( not all of them, but a lot). But couldn't find any jewelry, other than the butterfly which came in with a zinc signal.

I could have dug a lot more zincolns but got tired of digging them. The '56 silver quarter didn't sound any different than the clad quarters I had been digging, but I knew I had silver before I picked it up. It also wasn't any deeper than the clad quarters I had been digging, a lot of them were right around the 4" depth. Also dug the '56 wheat which was not in very good shape, but once again at the 4" mark.

Total was $15.51. Not my best ever, but close.

AT Pro, pro zero, 30 disc, 1 bar down from max sens, ground balanced at 89, iron audio off. Should I be running lower sensitivity with GB numbers that high ?

I dunno for sure about the setting but it sure looks like you had a pretty darn good hunt to me!

Excellent hunt! My goal this year along with my buddy is to buy a gold coin with all my $$$. If all my hunts were as good as yours, I would be able to afford a gold bar.

Thanks for the comments, guys. John-Edmonton, sounds like a good idea. Last year I used my clad to buy some silver rounds.
