Just want to say that I am praying for my forum family. We all have so many needs! And there are so many catastrophes, tragedies, injustice and terrible things going on our world. But we serve a living God and we're not alone! He is mighty to save, heal, deliver, protect and to set free!!! I have been reminded lately of of how Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into the fiery furnace that Nebuchadnezzar had heated 7 times hotter. When ol King Neb looked into the furnace thinking he was going to see the three of them roasting in there, instead of seeing what he expected to see, he saw the three of them - and One more.. "and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God." - and they were all loose and walking around in the fire! The King called them out of the furnace and Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came walking out of the fiery furnace! And the Bible says that they were not hurt, that the fire had no power over them, not even the hair on their heads was singed, their clothes were not burned, and they didn't even have the smell of smoke on them! I'm tellin you folks, we serve a mighty God who is well able to deliver us out of any and every thing we face or go through! And what about that 4th Man who was there in the fire???? He didn't come walking out with the other three!!! He's still IN the fire - the fires that we have to walk through in our every day lives! He is able to loose US and walk with US so that, even though we are in the fiery trials that we have to walk through, we are able to come out of our furnace and not even have the smell of smoke on us! I'm glad I'm serving a God who is able to deliver me!
