My wife has been staying at our place in Vero Beach, Florida, and has found pretty much nothing up to now. She called today and said she found a coin that sounds like a gold doubloon. 
She can't send me a pic because her Internet connection is down. Both the McLarty and Mel Fisher museums are closed today so she couldn't get an expert to evaluate the coin. There was a club hunt down in the area at the end of March, but the beach where she found the coin isn't close to that hunt.
We are keeping our fingers crossed that this is the real thing.
