I am waterproofing a Whites Classic 1 for fresh water detecting. I need to know what the three pots on the circuit board are? I will be using an Otter case to install the electronics. I think the pot on the circuit trace side of the board is for ground balance.

great photo Clondike! three pots are G.E.B., Disc. - for balancing in zero, and maybe VR7 - for some initial level for DISC.

How do I adjust the sound on this unit to get it out of silent search mode. So I can hear a tone. <img src="/metal/html/tongue.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":b"> <img src="/metal/html/tongue.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":b">
