5 pin. All of the brown box older units except for the lobo take 5 pin connectors. The 4 pin coils are the lobo, cobola, tejon and lobo.

Thanks had one before for my cortez and loved it. Time to find another one.
I had the 3x18 clean sweep on my silver. It worked well, but...it got very heavy after swinging for awhile. It made the machine very unbalanced and was hard on the arm. Just my opinion. I still have the Silver but now I've put on new Tesoro 11x8 Widescan coil. The weight isn't that much different and it works great for me.
