A very good read, Andy Sabisch's article on cleaning coins is posted on Losttreasure.com, under News & Articles tab. Scroll down to Tip of the day. Both the "tip and tale of the day" articles change daily and are only viewable for one day, so if you like the article, I'd suggest to "copy & paste it" onto notepad then "save it" in your detector folder or other aptly named folder on your pc for future reference.
