Princess, his cat, was so mad from leaving her that she won't have anything to do with him....but she will be find in a day or so! Tony, my cat, when he was alive and I left him alone for a weekend or more, he wouldn't have anything to do with me either....just get under the bed and sulk! They are like children don't like for you to leave! I always put out enough food and water for him and he could go up and down stairs to the basement! He could only use my bedroom and the family room! I closed all the doors to the rest. I have louvered doors in the kitchen and living room, so he couldn't get in there! I also did that when I had to work! He would sleep on a towel that I kept on the couch for him! I still miss him but he's gone so I've accepted that!

God Bless!

Thanks, Lorraine! We had a very good relationship, although he was deaf (white-persian-male with blue eyes) we communicated with each other very well! Yes, I still miss him but it has been almost 11 years since he passed away in July 1997! Some animals are so special.....Tara and Princess are special to Clifrf and he would sure miss them when their time to leave comes and they would miss him, if his time came first! They make good companionship for anyone who is alone and needs to talk to something instead of themselves! I talk back to the TV now! Neither can talk back to start an argument! :)

God Bless!

Sorry to hear of your Tony. Losing pets is rough. Sometimes we think we are not attached to an animal but we soon discover that we really were and did not want to admit it. (Happens here with the birds I've had to bury and in the past with cats and a dog I had to put down as well.)

May God give you comfort in your memories of Tony.

Thanks Pete! Tony was special and I have memories of him in my heart! I cried deeply for a week over losing him, but I recovered and it has been almost 11 years, so I should not grieve for him but I know I still love and miss him and always will! Animals attach to our hearts the same as children and to some people they are their children!

God Bless and try to get out and do some detecting when you can, as it will make you feel better, even if it is just for an hour or so! I bet you find some nice goodies to show us with pics! Good Luck and go :detecting: to behold some sparkling gold, silver or ice......for they are all nice! ;)
