Clonker of a ring

leslie

New member
Back on my Iron Field today lots of pre-decimal coins lots of Pull-Tabs
then I get this loud signal which shows 75 on the Deus screen I thought
another pull-tab but the signal was really too loud for a pull-tab soooo
I dig down about five inch with my spade and out pops this clonker.
Still using Deus Fast and Freq at 12 GB Pumping 83.

Thanks for looking. The first two pics are before cleaning.

Les.

No idea on age Rob, it is stamped 375 which is the mark for 9 carat gold,
the oldest coin I have found on this field dates back to 1904 it looks
Edwardian or Victorian but I could be wrong, may take it to a jeweller
and see what kind of a date he can put on it. The design looks to be
like some kind of military hat.
