do a web search and you will probably find one just like it... might be your best find of the bunch
 
on your multi-month finds post (great stuff BTW!), I think the slot is far too small for a bottle opener.
My guess would be along the lines of a "badge" to be sewn into a coca-cola delivery driver's uniform or something along those lines.
Whatever it ends up having been used for, it's cool, and I'd like to find one someday!

I'm sure it has some value, maybe a lot... not sure of date but probably pre 1940... does it have a trade mark in any of the C's?
