Here's a better picture

Yes, went by the old house and the ower told me his aunt was a church goer, And she would have church meetings from 1890 to 1950 in the lower field by the house, and this place might be loaded. I'm going back today !!!! :detecting::hot:

Nice coin Ken! I lived in Carson for many years and never found a cc coin. Some are worth big bucks! one cc dollar they have on display at the cc museum is worth a mill.

Nice!!! thanks for the information

Hi Ken

Nice find! Out here in Cali some guys find CC dimes from time to time as Carson city is only a short drive. I've only found 1 CC coin (it was a 1881 Morgan dollar). I found many seated dimes but never a CC. Congrats on a tough coin!

Steve,

5 x 10 coil at (I believe, no tape) 7 inches. The digger was almost buried.

Yes you have to work with a detector to know it. Thanks Steve

I think this says it all!
