Club Hunt Sunday, " The Good The Bad and The Ugly "

As Eddie said it was a great day for a club hunt and the weather was fantastic and the water extremely warm. 3 of us went water hunting and the rest hunted on land.I think all us us had a great day and I sure did. Any day you find gold and silver on land or by water is a great day and it was for me. I even found a plastic sandwich bag wrapped in a chain full of smaller chains and beaded necklaces that I thought was a small treasure trove. Found out at home when I opened it, I was wrong. Not worth anything but would like to know the story how it wound up in the lake. Big find was a HUGE 14kt. white gold mans ring a little larger than a quarter and a small 10kt baby ring plus a real nice silver etched ring. A real assortment of jewelry and a real nice Seattle Transit Token plus all the normal junk and clad coins. How can you beat good friends, good weather, good finds and excitement. Enjoy the pictures and may all of you have success on your next outing. Thanks for looking

We did good and I was quite surprised with what I dug up. Just got off the phone and ordered a scale to weigh some of the rings. Will be interesting to see what the large one weighs. Should be here by Friday if all goes well. Thanks for the post

It's always nice to see something in the bottom of your scoop when in the water. I know my wife prefers I water hunt rather than on land as I tend to get more jewelry which she likes. As the guy on the Whites advertisement says " And my wife really likes this". I would much rather find old coins with my 2 explorers but will take the gold in the water also.

You did exceptionally well at that hunt! WTG! Nice Rings and what a bunch of Necklaces you got there. And you are right about having a great time with friends and making great finds on a nice day of hunting. Just doesn't get any better than that. Good Luck and HH.

Its always nice to see the whole nut........even the nitr000000!!

looks like you got a bunch.....

Ya know I stoped hauling all the beer caps, pull tabs, and fishweight home with me.. Got to heaveyyyyy......

Leave-em in trash can on the way out of the lake..
I know you seen my posts in the past..
Latley I've just been posting the Junk -
Other than pull tabs, beer caps, and fishing weights
Just wanted you to know I had to work for my finds - belive me....

Anyway, Nice gold ticket mate!!!!

It seems water and jewlery go together - huh??

Had a great time and the weather was perfect, I think we may have a new water hunter next year. Eddie is starting to look pretty interested when he sees what we bring out of the water. It's always nice to get good coins but nice to get jewelery consistently from the water also..

You made a comment sometime back about posting the trash so people can see what is dug to get the good stuff. This time I took your advice on it. For the record the large 14kt. White Gold Ring is a size 14 1/2. Not sure of the weight but ordered a scale and it will be here Friday. Thanks for the comments they are always nice to read from other good hunters

Anytime your at a high use swimming area and it beeps you scoop it, sift it, retrieve it and fill the hole all in a matter of a minute or so. Other good thing is usually you have no two targets close together to mess up the signal. The best part is the area is constantly replenished with new stuff not like old coins being gone forever once found.
