I cant find the post right now but someone used an ACE250
with notches only from rion foil to pulltabs to find gold
at a playground... Can i set My 1500 the same or will
it not work like the ace..??

you will just have to do some testing ,, grab some gold rings and see where they hit and pretty much eliminate everything else,, as far as I can see it should work

Yes, of course buddy.Simply "reject" everything above pulltab. You'll dig a ton of junk, but might just get that piece of gold jewelry that you may have overlooked while you were busy diggin' coins. That is Trackerman's tot lot hunt that you are referring to the Ace 250 hunt, I believe.

Sometimes, when I'm beach hunting with my GTI 2500, I will reject everything below nickel and everything from penny on up. Then I don't waste time diggin' clad or iron, but I get gold jewelry, nickels, and tons of pulltabs and trash(which falls into the same range as gold).
