Coat of Arms Button?

shilohdiggr

New member
Hello all,I'm a new member to this forum and this is my first post.I dug this button over the weekend and was hoping someone could shed some light on the subject. It features a Coat of Arms with lettering "LH-KYMERO" underneath it.Some sort of wild animal with horns around mouth is atop the shield and emblems inside shield look imperial. The backmark is american,Craddock Co.Kansas City,MO.I was able to find out the maker was a clothier in 1889 thru 1890.His name was on some post C.W. state buttons,as well as train and bus uniform buttons. An online search didn't yield this specific button design though.I would also like to know if this emblem and wording represents another country? Thanks in advance, shilohdiggr.

My educated guess is its just a botton with a design that might not mean anything but looked good at the time. But it might mean something or have meant something in the late 1800's
