Coil connector wiring

Hi,
I got a 10"x14" garrett dd coil that i would like to put on my gta-1000 detector but the female microphone type connector that screws into the control box is wired wrong. does anyone know the correct wire to pin location? because i have a new connector and i can solder.. at least i'm certified anyway. <img src="/metal/html/wink.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=";)">
The old connector is: pin-1 braided / pin-2 black / pin-3 red / pin-4 white / pin-5 green
the new coil has five wires it looks like + - wires? matched together one each white / braided. red-white / braided. then a green wire.

Knowing the way manufactures do things, the reason it has a different connector is, most likely it was not designed to operate on that unit. They usually change connector types to prevent improper usage, and perhaps stall off damage to the detector.

Thanks Bill, but i checked with garrett and the coil will work on this machine it's just the connector.
i just don't want to send it to them and wait for it to return. i had it working yesterday so i'm at it again today. just got to solder the wires on because i figured where they go. it took all day!
thanks for your help.
Mark
