Coil Cover For Dual Field

SurfPro

New member
Yes or no?

No. The coil cover is a PIA. I used mine without a cover for about a month to scuff it up and then coated it with Marine Epoxy. Works great and you don't have to worry about sand build up. Good Luck!

no cover the coil cover is hard to take off and the sand buildup is bad.I noticed the machine goes crazy when the sand builds up in the cover

I use the cover and seal the edge with silicone, works great. I also put some on the o-ring and closed it shut, then wiped the excess off to make it air tight.

You siliconed the O ring on the Box? your gona have a few problems changing the batteries :rage: the O ring is especially made to do the sealing and as long as its kept clean works fine
