need opinions on using coil cover for the at pro for salt water use. when i use mine cover in salt water it gets sand in between the cover and coil, my opinion is that it creates falsing and the sand thats trapped wheres the coil just like sand paper, so should i use the cover or not, thats the question?

Hi langsy, Your right i dont ues im on the Beach 4R that reasion??? In a rocky area yes i do, Mickfin

I've never used one(on several brands of machines) and had no problems with worn or damaged coils. I can see a need to, if one scrubs ground or bottom(in water), or hints a lot in very rocky/gravelry areas.
