I have the Mojave, will i loose depth if i use it with the coil cover ? Will i have more depth with no coil cover ?

Always use coil cover. Always.
Also after a hunt where the coil goes into the water or ion sand or if it gets dirty, remove the cover and clean.
Depending on what gets between if it builds up can cause issues with performance.
I do it because of that and I want them fresh each hunt

If you ever detect in gravelly or rocky areas a coil cover is cheap protection for the coil and does NOT detract from depth or sensitivity. I always use one.
