Any suggestions on putting the coil cover on a CZ 10.5" coil
 
This is what I do and it works for me. I take a knife and a file and clean any rough places inside the coil cover and on the coil, some times they leave some epoxy sticking out. HH..BJ
 
By reading some past posts, once you get the cover on the coil you might want to seal it with some silicone to keep sand, etc. from getting between the coil and the cover. For this can give some falsing. From what I have read it is very difficult to remove the cover, sometimes the only way is to break it off.

Some coil cover runs fit awful tight. If I read your post correctly thats your problem..Simply put the coil cover in real hot water and it will expand allowing you to fit it on the coil..
