Okay metal detector related,near it had to have it!This is a Garrett Co
planar.Monster 14 inch. coil.Any one have any idea what machine this would work with?It has 4 pins looks like it could have had a fifth?What detector would it have worked with?Any help thanks in advance!

The coil top is your 1st clue. It states that it is a Deepseaker coil and the small sticker by the rod mount says 5.5 kHz. That means it would be one of the Deepseaker series from back around 1977 or so into the early 1980s.

However, somewhere about '81 to '83 they made some circuitry changes and even though the frequencies were the same, search coils didn't interchange well.

Anyway, you have a coil for an older and heavier model from +/- 40 years ago. I'd suggest you contact Garrett directly.
