Coil/Mineralization question

My auto GB numbers range from 17-30 in the areas where I hunt. Is that considered too high of mineralization to use a LF coil? I have been using the stock 9" coil with good success but was thinking of eventually buying the "Digger" coil for the parks that are fairly trash littered. I really didn't want the 6" MF coil because I wanted a DD coil for even better separation. I still want to hunt for silver when it comes to the old parks and the LF coils are supposed to best for the silver and copper. Any help will be greatly appreciated

FWIW, and the sake of comparison.....

I took all three of the new coils and the stock 9" 7.5kHz concentric coil to my proving ground to compare them all side-by-side. I chose three different locations, and checked Ground Balance (in Coin & Relic and Beach modes), Conductive Mineralization, Magnetic Mineralization, highest stable working Sensitivity, and Target ID accuracy on a suspected coin target which would be dug only after all four coils had scanned it. The results were a bit enlightening, and may be of interest to some with respect to how each handled and responded to different targets in varying soil conditions.
When changing between Coin & Relic Mode and Beach Mode with each coil, I ground balanced the machine in each mode. I did not simply jump back and forth between modes.

That TID for the nickel under the 15" 3kHz was really broad,8-20.Very interesting.Other than that I am impressed with how consistent the other TIDs are among the different sized coils.Thank you for this valuable info. This really gives me a good preview of what to hopefully expect with my coils. Next decent day comes, I am taking the X70 out with the 9" 3kHz coil and see what happens. Thanks again, Brian

The minelab concentric 3kHz is much more consistant with their other coils/frequencies TID's.
Given the all digital aspects of this machine and these coils, a small difference in programming can make a big difference in outcome. In general the Coiltek LF coils run hotter than the Minelab coil, which results in them not having the same response to low conductors
