I think the f75 stock coil is great,,can't complain..I have a few bucks to spend and was looking at the ultimate coil for my f75ltd2...in theory I'm not looking to get tremendous depth,but I'm looking more for clearing up the signal on those iffy 8 and 9 inch coins...I've always thought a round coil would hit those coins harder than a bi axel coil,,,any help from users?

Coil question for f75

I have one but not on an F75. I bought it for my F19 and F5. I like it a lot but not in heavy trash where I much prefer the stock 11 DD. It does go deeper and it's very light. The bigger coil is less sensitive to very small low conductors which is appreciated on the F19 where the stock coil seems to pick up super tiny bits of foil and can slaw. What was harder to get used to is the pin pointing accuracy. I find pin pointing with the stock coil to be super easy and I can make very small plugs and get the target every time without digging more dirt. I have to make bigger plugs with the Ultimate to make sure I get the target the first time. It's not quite as accurate but I got used to it. At the beach I really love the Ultimate on the F19. When the trash is moderate and you want to cover more ground it's a good choice IMHO.
In that size and general shape, you also have the Mars Discovery, RIF Turbo and NEL Tornado. The Tornado is loved by many. I had one and unfortunately it was faulty so I had to return it. I recall it being substantially heavier than the Ultimate but I think they shaved some weight in subsequent versions.

I have the nel tornado for my f75 along with the sharpshooter.. I have these same coils for my 705 also. Amazing coils.. The tornado is deeper and I feel separates as good as stock f75 coil. I've also used the ultimate coil and in my ground the tornado is the better coil.. And the nel is lighter..
